The 60% Typewriter Custom

This is one of my custom-made keyboards! Yes, I can and will make keyboards for clients, because sometimes you just need that hand-assembled, made by a picky expert touch.
What do you get when you combine a bent aluminum frame, faux-typewriter keycaps, and a bunch of solder? This beast! I used Gateron MX Green switches to require that little extra bit of force when typing - not as much as a real manual typewriter, but hey, it's the thought that counts. On the underside, the circuit board is exposed, for that extra bit of techy street cred. I sold this one at Anime Boston 2017, but I can make more upon request, because really, do I need an excuse to put these things together? (No. The answer is no.)
